Legal apprentice

We have a great opportunity for an Apprentice to join the thriving Conveyancing Team of a law firm based in Heaton Chapel, Stockport. The team deals with the sales and purchases of residential property. THE ROLE The role will provide you with the opportunity to assist and train in respect of all aspects of the conveyancing process. The team is very friendly and approachable. The role includes a variety of general office tasks including: - Assisting fee earners - Assisting in the progression of property purchases and sales - Answering calls - Distributing the post - Scanning and photocopying A pleasant telephone manner and smart appearance are essential. Knowledge of Word and Excel are desirable. This is an ideal position for anyone looking to work in a fast-moving environment and wishing to develop and learn new skills. The pace of the office can change considerably from day to day, as can the tasks that you will need to carry out, therefore this role will suit someone who enjoys variety. You will be trained in all aspects of the role, therefore we do not require any particular skill set or experience, however you will need to be comfortable using a computer, happy to speak on the telephone and be able to pick up new skills quickly. Being a good team member is essential, as are good organisation skills, self-motivation and punctuality.
