The organisation is seeking multiple Power Systems Consultants to join the business at present, to be responsible for developing and advising on projects in the field of transmission, distribution, and generation, supporting all components of work from technical specifications, feasibility, regulatory commercial elements. Responsibilities of a Power Systems Consultant include: Management of Power projects processes, conducting complex problem solving both with supervision and independently. Build an internal external network, identifying opportunities for new and repeat business. Use various sales negotiation techniques to ensure successful outcomes on transactions, proposals, and contracts. Contribute towards R+D projects including scope of budget, project management, communications with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery. Follow up on new products and service provisions, including client support and contract management activities. Conduct analysis through various assessment techniques e.g. Stability, Harmonic, Power/Short Load testing, Load Flow Studies.Desirable Experience Qualifications: Degree / MSc. qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar Engineering principle. Solid understanding of power systems, analytical techniques and bespoke software packages e.g. DIgSILENT, PSS/E, PSCAD. Proven understanding of technical requirements within Power System Engineering, including equipment applications / site assessments / grid stabilisation / network optimisation.
