Sen teaching assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join this special school in Camden. This is a full time, long-term role starting in September for the whole academic year 2024/25. The School: A large community-maintained special needs school in the London Borough of Camden. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for the below: Supporting SEN students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis Encouraging and promoting student engagement in learning activities Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and outside agencies Monitoring and recording student progress and achievementsTo join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need : Previous experience working with children with SEN An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible Legal right to work in the UKTradewind are renowned for offering top rates of pay, more CPD than any other agency, great referral bonus and termly networking social events.
