Job Title: Mechanical Shift Engineer Location: Liverpool Street Salary: GBP44,000 per annum Shift Pattern: Day Shift, 4 on 4 off, 7am ndash; 7pm About the Role: As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional building services within a commercial environment. Your responsibilities will include both planned and reactive maintenance works on Mechanical, HVAC plant, and associated equipment. You will be dedicated to upholding high standards of customer service while ensuring operational effectiveness and reliability of the plant and systems. Benefits: * 20 shifts leave per year * Overtime opportunities * Pension scheme * Private Medical Insurance * Flexible Benefits * Discount Scheme * Plus lots more available Responsibilities: * Communicate effectively with Shift Leader regarding plant problems/failures. * Complete all plant and BMS checks on time and report any issues promptly. * Conduct PPM in accordance with schedules to maintain engineering standards. * Proactively engage in preventative maintenance and site upkeep. * Adhere to engineering standards and health and safety regulations. * Maintain accurate records and documentation associated with mechanical aspects of PPM and plant. * Respond promptly to Helpdesk reactive maintenance issues. * Coordinate with specialist sub-contractors for mechanical aspects of PPM schedules. * Cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with mechanical services as required. * Conduct repairs on electrical/mechanical systems and controls. Requirements: * NVQ/City Guilds Level 3 (Building Services or Mechanical discipline) * 3-5 years rsquo; experience in similar facilities services environments. * Proficiency in electrical and HVAC plant-related building services PPMs. * Competent knowledge of various mechanical systems including Air Conditioning, HVAC, Cooling Towers, Water Treatment, etc. * Legionella Awareness certification.
