Mechanical estimator hvac

The primary function of the role is to ensure the accurate preparation and submission of lsquo;on-time rsquo; quotes on both Commercial Residential Projects. The Mechanical Estimator is responsible for calculating the costs of a project before work commences, covering everything from materials, labour, equipment hire, transport costs and everything in between. JOB CONTEXT AND DIMENSIONS bull; Load all New Leads into Simpro Management System bull; Download Tender Doc rsquo;s and Produce Quantified Material Take Off rsquo;s in Ensign bull; Create lsquo;Take-Offs rsquo; and build accurate tender submissions for our customers bull; Gather pricing information from suppliers (where not already held) bull; Manage multiple concurrent tenders bull; Create new maintain existing catalogue items with regular price updates bull; Produce Airflow Calculations bull; Amend quotes based on the Senior Estimators instruction and/or Client rsquo;s feedback bull; Regular project tracking and tender note updates bull; Assist with lsquo;Project Win Forecast rsquo; for Senior Estimator Head of Projects review bull; Deliver lsquo;New Project Start rsquo; handover meetings with operations team bull; Coordinate with the project delivery team to obtain up to date, relevant installation information Experience bull; Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator bull; Proficient in Cad Ensign software packages bull; Strong knowledge of mechanical HVAC systems bull; An understanding of ductwork installation would be an advantage Specific Skills bull; Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and specifications bull; Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with attention to detail bull; Excellent written and verbal communications bull; Proficient in all Microsoft Office programmes bull; Ability to manage workload under pressure and to deadlines If you are interested in this role please contact Josh @ Hunter Mason Consulting
