Building surveyor

Sure Start Staff have an opportunity for a Building Surveyor working on a temporary assignment until March 2025 for the Local Authority in Rochdale. Employment Type: Temporary until March 2025 Pay rate: GBP19.81 per hour Hours: 7.40hrs per day, 5 days per week, 3 days to be worked in the office Location: Rochdale, Hybrid Start: May 2024 for the right candidate * It is essential that the Surveyor can produce CAD Drawing using AutoCAD As a successful candidate, you will have experience of working relating to maintenance project work for Schools Public Buildings. Experience/Skills/Criteria * Must have knowledge of current Building Regulations * Must have knowledge of different types of building Surveys * Demonstrate that you are able to undertake different types of building surveys (WLCC, Condition, Dilapidation) * Able to produce AutoCAD plans, Elevations and cross sections building and structures * Must be able to work to heights, using steps and ladders to carry out inspection on roof and roof voids and in confined spaces (e.g. cellars and attics) * Knowledge of Health Safety Legislation and Project Management * Knowledge of Construction and Building Surveying * Ability to complete job related Risk Assessments If this Building Surveyor position is of interest to you, please apply with a copy of your CV.
