Sales manager

Job Introduction We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join the management team at our Land Rover Dealership in Hereford. The closing date for this position is 22nd March 2024. The hours of work are between 8am to 6pm (typically either 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm) Monday to Saturday, with a day off in the week and Sundays on a rota basis. There is also a weekend rota to provide weekends off. Salary includes an OTE of GBP64,000 and use of a company car (basic salary GBP32,000). You will be expected to achieve agreed sales targets for new and used cars, and assist the sales team in offering customers comprehensive support in all of their vehicle financing and insurance requirements. The successful individual will possess a positive, hands-on approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a developing sales team. Role and Responsibilities Grow all aspects of sales gross profit, specialising in finance, insurance and value added products. Advising customers on finance, insurance, warranties and other services offered by our dealerships. You will build trust, communicate effectively and exceed our customer rsquo;s expectations; In essence you will ensure that our customers buying experience is industry leading. You will also be accountable for handling customer queries and complaints and ensure they are resolved effectively. To support the sales team in daily operations including but not limited to customer contact, sales funnel management, deal building and closing, professional vehicle preparation whilst ensuring that stock is kept to the company rsquo;s agreed levels. By driving the sales process and supporting the sales team in achieving their monthly KPI rsquo;s for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration and add-on products, to ensure budgetary sales / profit forecasts are achieved. Accurate completion of all paperwork and providing reports on all sales activities ensuring accurate sales forecasts. Making sure that the sales team accurately and vigorously collect all customer contact and vehicle data in order to maximise the quality and content of the customer database (adhering to the Company rsquo;s FCA obligations).About you You may be an existing sales manager, sales controller or retail manager looking for a new challenge or better career and reward opportunities. You must be able demonstrate a profitable and successful track record of delivering outstanding results as well as delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. In addition your need to have strong management and leadership skills, winning mentality and a real passion for the brand.
