An exciting full-time position is available after Easter at a primary school in Bexleyheath for a Year 5 Teacher. This role offers you the chance to nurture the intellectual growth and accomplishments of pupils in a Year 5 class located in the London borough of Bexley. Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities: As the successful candidate, you will oversee the progress and achievement of a high-performing Year 5 class. Your duties will Crearing engaging lessons that adhere to KS2 National Curriculum standards and complement the school #39;s creative curriculum Demonstrating a deep understanding of age-related expectations within KS2, and tailoring instruction to optimize educational outcomes for individual pupils Maintaining accurate records of data, analyzing areas for reteaching to address learning gaps, and sustaining high levels of achievement Cultivating positive relationships with students founded on trust and mutual respect Collaborating effectively with teaching assistants, key stage staff, and wider faculty to exchange insights, resources, and best practicesEssential Criteria: QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification) Strong references substantiating prior experience in KS2, preferably within a Year 6 setting A comprehensive CV detailing the last decade of employment history, with any gaps explained Eligibility to work in the UKAll applicants will undergo an enhanced DBS check and must provide suitable references.
