Quality manager

Imperial Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting for a Quality Manager on behalf of a long established multi-disciplined engineering company based in Northeast. Job Title: Quality Manager Location: North East Salary: Competitive Basis: Permanent Overview: The is a Management role with a responsibility to ensure that the organisation is managed and supported with the provision of effective quality guidance and support and that also takes responsibility for the effective maintenance and continuous improvement of the company rsquo;s business management system (BMS). Key Duties and Responsibilities: * Lead and monitor the Company continual improvement processes and performance. * Reporting on performance and support of the continual development of the Quality and Business Management System for Company operations * To ensure effective management of designated Quality management and document control personnel * To manage and supervise operational Quality support required for projects and worksites. * To manage the relevant support to the Commercial tendering and bid process. * To manage the Company accreditation processes for the clients Management System * To manage the control of documentation and to ensure accurate and timely document control services to the Company for governance and project activities. * To liaise with relevant Authorities and external Stakeholders with regards to Quality matters * To continually promote and present the Quality culture and values of client rsquo;s departmental, project and Client level. * To manage the production and implementation of the Company internal and third-party audit program * To bring to the attention of the Managing Director / Senior Management Team any deficiencies or urgent matters relating to compliance * Primary point of contact for Quality matters with all internal and external organisations * To manage quality support, assistance and processes to the Company internal and external stakeholders. * To manage quality content of the clients Management System and support of Company accreditations * To manage and co-ordinate Company NCR rsquo;s * To manage and co-ordinate Company MOC rsquo;s * To manage and lead the Company audit schedule and co-ordination of delivery. * To manage and lead quality participation and deliverables for projects. * To provide quality support and guidance for Commercial pre-qualification and tenders * To provide quality support and guidance for Supplier / Supply Chain selection and monitoring * Provision of operational guidance relating to QA/QC requirements during tender, contractual, installation and construction phases Qualification Skills * Recognised Quality qualification * IRQA Certified Lead Auditor * Member of CQI * Industry experience, particularly trenching and subsea cable installation * Demonstrable managerial skills at a management level * Experience and understanding of Business Management Systems, Legislation, Quality Standards, Risk Management, Auditing, Inspection, * Knowledge of commercial processes and contractual documents * Skilled with all Microsoft Office Packages For more information on this opportunity or for a confidential conversation please contact Yaw Ankomah at Imperial Recruitment Group
