Site manager

Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for a new opportunity for career development and progression with a medium sized main contractor? We have a fantastic opportunity to join a principal contractor who have been operating in London and the Home Counties for over a century. This is an opportunity to work for a very well respected main contractor who invest in their employees in order to progress your career to where you hope to be. The ideal Site Manager will be able to draw upon their main contractor background and have worked on MOD, residential, education, heritage, leisure and commercial projects and have refurbishment experience. Formal education is desired but not essential for the role. As the Site Manager you will be number two on Site reporting into the Project Manager. You should be able to demonstrate prior experience where you have managed building construction projects within a similar sector up to GBP20million. The role will include managing daily activities of the appointed sub-contractors in respect of Health Safety and Quality and Programme. You will be leading weekly progress meetings and produce the required time line of works, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget and is compliant.
