Maintenance shift electrician

We are currently recruiting for a shift maintenance electrician to work on a contract in the Central Manchester area. The maintenance Electrician will cover maintenance, remedial and servicing works within the facility, including lighting, power and building services. The role is a permanent position circa 39k salary. The shifts are; 4 on 4 off, 07:00 - 19:00 Description Within the electrician role you will be carrying out all planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the facility. Duties Responsibilities Covering remedial works and planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical, control, basic mechanical and building fabric systems To cover all electrical distribution, controls, lighting, emergency systems, building services To complete PPM rsquo;s in line with SLA and KPI agreements To provide Electrical H S and compliance engineering To undertake works on the power supply, lighting, power generation, HVAC, UPS, A/C units, etc To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines including fabric maintenance Skills Background Required : Recognised professional qualification e.g. City Guilds 236 Electrical Installation Part 1 2 or NVQ Level 3 ideally 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations PPM and reactive maintenance experience Ideally IPAF but not essential Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment Must be presentable and reliable Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally Strong planning and workload management skills with the ability to manage short term and long term activities to agreed deadlines If you are interested then please click the APPLY button now PRS are a leading specialist recruitment and search selection consultancy within the Building Services, FM and Support Sectors.
