Job Title: Project Manager - Welding and Wrapping Company Overview: The business we #39;re working with is a leading provider of engineering solutions for water infrastructure projects. they specialise in delivering high-quality, innovative solutions for clients in the water industry. Currently, we are seeking a Project Manager to lead a team of Welders on a significant project on behalf of Northumbrian Water and their AMP7 framework. Role Project Manager - Water Pipeline (Welding and Wrapping) Location: Barnard Castle Rate: GBP300 - GBP350 p/d - Outside IR35/LTD Company Duration: 10 - 12 Months Project Scope: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a crucial water pipeline project valued between GBP1.2m and GBP1.5m. The project involves the construction and groundworks of water pipelines, with a focus on welding and wrapping joints. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of the project within budget and on schedule, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: middot;Lead and manage all aspects of the project, from planning to execution, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgetary constraints. middot;Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure seamless project delivery. middot;Oversee the welding and wrapping of joints, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. middot;Develop and implement project schedules, resource plans, and risk management strategies to mitigate potential obstacles and ensure project success. middot;Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep the project on track. middot;Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence throughout the project lifecycle, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards. middot;Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and key deliverables. Requirements: middot;Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the water infrastructure Industry. middot;Demonstrated experience with welding and wrapping joints is essential. middot;SMSTS or similar/equivalent
