Shift supervisor production

The Role: Night Shift Supervisor Location: NP11 - CrossKeys area Salary: GBP40k-GBP45k The Company Our client, in the environmental sector, has an opportunity to join them at their recycling waste processing site as a Night Shift Supervisor. The Role * As Shift Supervisor you will ensure the Night Shift is running efficiently, safely and is a secure operation. * You will work with the General Manager and Production Manager to maximise facility production time. * You will lead and help in the development of the shift teams. *You will create positive communication and relationships across the senior management team, including working closely with the maintenance team in delivering the night time production. *You will be responsible for dealing with any problems or incidents in a timely manner and within the required procedure guidelines, escalating issues to the appropriate manager. *You will ensure that there is a positive Health Safety culture. The Successful Candidate bull; The ideal Shift Supervisor will have experience working in a supervisory role within a manufacturing, production or waste management service or facility. bull;You will have experience of managing or supervising small to medium teams. bull; You will have strong people management skills and ability to develop a positive team working environment. bull; Previous experience of working within Health Safety legislation is required and a positive approach to all health and safety matters is a necessity. bull; Experience of working within and meeting SLA and KPI requirements. bull; The ideal candidate will have a positive, cheery and can do personality and attitude. bull;The idea candidate will have a good level of verbal and written communications. bull; This role would suit an individual who is keen to develop themselves as our business also grows
