Their design focus is primarily in steel, concrete, masonry and timber so you will have extensive experience designing in these materials. As a senior structural engineer you also be responsible for preparation of structural reports for mainly commercial and domestic schemes. Report writing skills are therefore vital. You will take control of your own schemes and work relatively autonomously. The role offers unlimited promotion prospects.
