Learning Support Assistant**** ****Bridgwater**** ****Full time (Term Time only)**** ****- Salary GBP17,224 - GBP21,894 (39 weeks)**** I am proud to be recruiting for a school who supporting children with special educational needs near Bridgwater. You`ll be providing 1-2-1 support to children with special educational or emotional difficulties. You`ll be helping with the students learning programmes, activities, academic and social learning. You`ll be recording and liaising the Teachers and Senior Learning Support Workers and SENCOs. About you You`ll be responsive and reflective Be accountable, honest, reliable and be able to empathise with students. Provide individuals with confidence, inspiration, direction and guidance Self-motivate with a positive attitude Develop innovative solutions Ability to use clear language to communicate information unambiguously Ability to negotiate effectively with adults and children You`ll need to show Knowledge and understanding of the principles of teamwork Good understanding of Safeguarding legislation, policy and procedures. Ability to assess progress and performance and recommend appropriate strategies to support development Understand and support the importance of physical and emotional well being If you have any experience working with children with special educational needs a plus!
