Carbon 60 is looking to recruit an experienced Construction Site Supervisor for its leading Facilities management clients based in West London This is for an immediate start and contract due to last 3 months Pay rate is GBP265 per day PAYE/GBP345 per day CIS Working hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday Duties will include Safety Management Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures Conduct regular safety inspections Provide safety training to workers Project Planning and Coordination Collaborate with project managers to develop project timelines Coordinate the activities of subcontractors and suppliers Ensure that materials and equipment are delivered to the site on time.Quality Control Monitor construction activities Conduct inspections to identify any issues Maintain accurate records of inspectionsResource Management Manage labour resources effectively Coordinate with procurement teams Monitor and manage the use of equipment and machinery on-site.Progress Monitoring and Reporting Monitor daily progress against the project schedule Maintain accurate records of work completed Prepare progress reports for project stakeholders as required.Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between on-site personnel, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Conduct regular meetings with the project team Communicate any changes to project plans or specifications to relevant parties.Problem Solving Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site. Troubleshoot technical problems Implement solutions to minimise disruptionsDocumentation and Compliance Maintain accurate records of all construction activities Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permits. Assist with the preparation of project documentation for final inspections and closeout.Cost Management Monitor project expenses and identify opportunities to reduce costs or improve efficiency. Review and approve invoices from subcontractors and suppliers. Assist with the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for future projects.Team Leadership and Development Provide leadership and guidance to on-site personnel Foster a positive and productive work environment.
