Quantity surveyor

We are seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Quantity Surveyor to join a Regional Contractor who are looking at schemes in Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. As a Quantity Surveyor, you #39;ll be working with the Commercial team, supporting them in ensuring that all commercial aspects of the project are properly managed and controlled, and that commercial strategy is developed and delivered. Duties: bull; Commercial lead on projects ranging from GBP5m - GBP15m bull; Develop and encourage project team performance encouraging and ensuring that main contractual obligations and or strategies are executed and regularly reviewed. bull; Complete and submit monthly CVR and progress reports bull; Demonstrate understanding of internal and external tender strategies / build up and work to the profit plan bull; Agree external valuations / cash flow to maximise project value bull; Produce main and subcontract final accounts Requirements: bull; Experience working for a UK Main Contractor as a Quantity Surveyor bull; Good understanding of JCT forms of contract bull; Good knowledge and understanding of Word and Excel packages bull; Good verbal and written communication skills bull; Experience working for a Tier 1 or regional construction contractor bull; Based in Midlands Salaries negotiable based on experience.
