Operations manager

The Company We are looking to procure an experienced Operations Manager from a manufacturing background to join a Devon based company with hugely exciting growth plans. They specialise in the Design, Manufacture and Installation of bespoke Leisure Facilities across the UK, America and Canada. Their projects range from GBP50k - GBP2m in value and their pipeline of work has exploded over the last 18 months, causing rapid expansion of the team and their service offering. The business will see 100% growth over the next few months creating exciting career opportunities for their happy team. The role They are looking to hire an experienced Operations Manager with a manufacturing background to support the CEO managing the day to day running of the business. Taking control from point of sale, you will oversee the key heads of each department - Engineering Design, Production, Manufacture, Warehouse and Logistics and Project Delivery, providing structure and process to the business while reporting back to the board. Key duties include: Regular reporting to the CEO and the board Planning of processes and projects Hiring and team development Point of escalation for Key Customers Implementation and Control of Department Budgets Analysis of efficiencies continuous improvement The successful Operations Manager will initially work closely with senior leadership team to assess their current set-up and help implement new processes, procedures, IT systems and policies.
