A superb permanent opportunity for a Warehouse Operative with recent mechanical experience to work with a very long established and successful manufacturing company. The role is based within their busy but friendly head office and there is free parking on site. Owing to location, own transport is necessary. Job Description The role of Mechanical Operative is varied and busy. You will work with a wide range of products and components . Comprehensive training will be offered and on- going support will be provided. You will be based in a friendly team and the working environment is very positive. Some of the duties will include: middot; Assembling components to create sub-assemblies middot; Handling small components middot; Fitting small amount of pre-made cables middot; Testing range of different components ndash; working to a high level of detail middot; Completion of Test Certificates and Packing sheets middot; Conducting some manual tasks The Candidate middot; You will be good with your hands with strong attention to detail middot; Have experience of working with mechanical components middot; Enjoy assembling components and keen to learn middot; Strong work ethic ndash; good time keeping, etc. middot; Demonstrate a positive attitude middot; Enjoy working in a team middot; Desire to commit long term to the business Able to supply satisfactory refences from previous employer This is a permanent, secure job and there will be opportunities for career progression for individuals who show reliability, commitment and enthusiasm.
