Position Overview: our Clients are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Cardiff. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating, repairing, and maintaining heavy plant machinery, demolition equipment, recycling machinery, and racking systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Responsibilities: Fabricate, repair, and maintain heavy plant machinery, demolition equipment, recycling machinery, and racking systems. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Perform welding operations using various techniques and equipment. Conduct quality inspections to ensure all work meets company standards. Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.Requirements: Proven experience as a Welder, with a focus on heavy plant machinery, demolition equipment, recycling machinery, and racking systems. Proficient in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Valid welding certifications preferred.Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of GBP15.50 per hour.
