Electronic Commissioning Support Engineer (Propulsion)- West Sussex Company Overview: My client is a leader in maritime waterjet propulsion solutions. They design, manufacture, and maintain advanced marine propulsion systems for various industries. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of our systems globally. Role Overview: As a Field Service Engineer, you #39;ll provide technical support to their clients. Your responsibilities will include installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining their waterjet propulsion systems. Responsibilities: Installing and commissioning waterjet and electronic control systems, conducting trials. Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Providing technical support to customers on site and remotely. Training customers on system operation and maintenance. Collaborating on field tests and trials for product improvement. Requirements: UK Level 5 awards (HND, Foundation degree) or higher in Engineering, Electronics, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the maritime industry. Strong knowledge of electronic control systems and mechanical drive systems. Willingness to travel extensively and work in challenging environments.
