About the Role: GSL Education are actively seeking an EY Teaching Assistant for immediate placement at Client Schools in North Shields, Tyne Wear . Welcoming smiles and nurturing hearts, guiding our little ones as they embark on their educational journey Early Years Teaching Assistant Role: Assisting the class teacher in meeting students #39; educational and social needs. Providing personalized 1:1 support to a student with complex requirements. Prioritizing the enhancement of social, life, and communication skills through tailored lessons, activities, and group sessions. Collaborating closely with two learners with complex needs alongside a lead teacher. Contributing to the planning and preparation of learning activities, resources, and materials aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Assisting in the assessment process and maintaining comprehensive records of each child #39;s development and progress. The successful candidate will: We encourage individuals aspiring to work in pastoral roles, including child psychologists, educational psychologists, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, SALTs, counselors, and social workers, to apply. Prior experience in a support role within a school or a child-related setting. A compassionate and professional attitude, with an enthusiasm to assist with personal care for students.
