Do you have a clean UK driving license with D1 and C1 categories the please apply with your updated CV as we are recruiting for a Courier service driver in Welwyn garden city Role: Courier service driver Location: Welwyn Garden City Salary: GBP13.72 p.h Work hours: 37 hours a week (Mon-Fri) Job type: 14 month contract Responsibilities: Transport supplies, equipment, court documents, and mail safely and in compliance with Constabulary Policy by acting as a driver or escort as needed Maintain an efficient and secure system for moving supplies and other goods between Headquarters Departments Offer stations and courts on-demand delivery and pickup services Gather and distribute DNA data from SOCO and custody units Offer confidential garbage pickup service with safe storage to guarantee proper disposal Maintain specified areas at a high level of cleanliness and hygiene across the headquarters site, including washing HCFCS vehicles Follow up on the parking situation at the headquarters, including the parking spots that have been reserved locating automobiles that are parked incorrectly and setting up vehicle registration checks to make sure the rules and policies are followed Deliver fundamental administrative and clerical assistance, complete standard paperwork, and adhere to departmental standards Be in charge of setting up furniture and equipment for the user #39;s needs, opening and shutting conference rooms, and so on You will be working within a tight team whose work dovetails together to provide an efficient service to HM Courts Tribunals delivering court files, to the handling and transportation of critical exhibits and other items of property through to the recovery delivery of Police vehicles for service and repair, providing a postal and delivery service coupled with a porterage service at Police HQ in Welwyn Garden CityExperience needed: A Full UK Driving License with Category D1 and C1 (position requires driving of vans) Ability to read a map and use/follow a Sat Nav Ability to conduct manual handling (some items in particular may be heavy or bulky) Basic IT knowledge A good level of Customer Service experience Strong verbal and written communication skills If this sounds interesting to you, please apply with your updated CV I will get in touch with you.
