Engineering shift manager

We are looking for an Engineering Shift Leader to act as a representative of Client carrying out work at client as detailed by the Engineering Manager. As the Engineering Shift Leader, you will conduct yourself in a professional manner in support of our customer and work colleagues. As the Engineering Shift Leader, you will act as a point of contact for the Engineering Team and will plan and manage workload on shift; scheduling works based on priorities to ensure completion of PPM #39;s / CM #39;s and reactive work orders within defined SLA #39;s; highlight any concerns to Engineering Supervisor. You will ensure a high degree of communication at shift handover via verbal communication and documentation and ensure all works are delivered on time and to the agreed specification. It will be your responsibility as Engineering Shift Leader to train the shift teams as required including delivering Toolbox talks and team briefings as well as Management of sub-contractors working on site, including permits, review of RAMs and isolations where required. You will also be responsible for completing reports and paperwork as instructed by the Engineering Manager and ensure compliance with Health Safety legislation, specific company requirements approved by the Health Safety Executive and the latest regulations and codes of good practice. As the Engineering Shift Lead, you will be qualified in:Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in relevant engineering maintenance field (or equivalent other qualification recognised by CITB/EITB/JIB) BS7671 Electrical Regulations IOSH Managing safely or similar. We are looking for someone who can undertake all facets of maintenance and installation requirements as required within the scope of the contract, someone who has excellent customer care / relationship building skills and is able to work as a member of a team and without direct supervision. You must be able to deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the company.
