Science Teacher Trafford based secondary school Full-time long-term position to start September 2024 Teaching all Sciences to KS3 KS4 Cover People UK are representing a Trafford based secondary school that are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic KS3/KS4 Science Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching all Sciences across KS3 and KS4. The candidate should have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and be able to deliver engaging and challenging lessons. As this is a long-term job, you will have full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Science Teacher or ECT to gain more experience. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students. Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents. Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Science curriculum. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and assessment results. You will need: MUST HAVE Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff.
