Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant Location: Oldham Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until at least December 2024, with potential for extension Our partner primary school is a leading mainstream institution with exceptional provisions for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Nestled in a fantastic location, the school boasts a welcoming atmosphere and is renowned for its commitment to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a student with additional needs, offering vital support to ensure their educational journey is as enriching as possible. Your primary duties will include: Providing individualized assistance to the assigned student. Implementing strategies to support the student #39;s learning and development. Collaborating with the class teacher to adapt and tailor lessons as needed. Assisting with the student #39;s personal care and well-being. Monitoring and recording progress, communicating effectively with parents and the school team. Requirements: We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine passion for supporting the educational needs of individual students. Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic school environment. Benefits: Competitive payment: GBP80 to GBP95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications).
