Position: Learning Mentor Location: Greenwich, London Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (Until the end of the academic year) Salary: Dependent on Experience Requirements: Previous experience working with children in an educational or similar setting. Enhanced DBS check on the update service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support student development. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. Develop and implement tailored intervention strategies to support students #39; academic, social, and emotional development. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to create a supportive learning environment. Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback and reporting to relevant parties. Collaborate with teaching staff to identify areas for intervention and support in line with individual student needs. Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning through proactive intervention and encouragement.
