Senior estates manager

Finegreen are currently supporting a large NHS organisation in the appointment of an experienced Estates Manager, this role is predominately looking after the Hard FM services operations so candidate will need to have a related qualification (Building Services/Engineering etc.) Key responsibilities will include: Directly responsible on a day-to-day basis for Hard FM services which are owned or operated by the NHS Trust; Provide professional advice and support on Estates Facilities to the Trust Executive, other Senior Managers, Clinical colleagues and external stakeholders, to include the interpretation and application of policies, legislative changes, guidance and best practice; Guarantee the provision of a highly responsive Estates service to all areas of the Trust to ensure the Trust rsquo;s performance requirements are actively supported; Ensure that all Estates Facilities rsquo; services are designed, developed, and delivered with the patient as a customer; Work in collaboration with the senior Estates Facilities teams, to assist in the strategic management and operational performance of the Estates Facilities Departments; Direct and develop services to provide effective and efficient Estates Services, ensuring accurate and timely information and expert advice is provided, indicating key performance, areas of concern and proposed courses of action; Responsible for ensuring that the delivery of Estates Services, provided to the Trust by external contractors, are monitored and ensure value for money and that high standards are achieved through setting up processes to regularly research and analyse the effectiveness of contractors in terms of cost and performance; The ideal candidate will have: Electrical or Mechanical background, or Building Services qualified by trade or qualification; Experience of working within and management of healthcare estates If you are interested in the role, please contact Donna Larder on (phone number removed) or send your to (url removed)
