We are offering a 3-year apprenticeship programme for candidates from 16 years and upwards. As our multi-skilled apprentice, you will develop the essential technical skills to become a fully trained multi-skilled engineer gaining expertise to carry out repairs and maintenance of our properties. Over the course of this intensive programme, you will be paired with an experienced mentor and receive hands-on training to carry out carpentry, plumbing and plastering skills in residential and commercial settings. We provide blended on-site and college-based learning to complete a recognised trade qualification. There are no specific restrictions on prior qualifications, but you cannot have an NVQ Level 3, or higher qualification, in the same subject as the role you are applying for. This apprenticeship is a full time, 4-year fixed term contract, including 3 years of part time study for your qualification and a further 1-year practical placement. You will receive standard Bromford T Cs like all colleagues and your salary will increase each year. Due to the nature of the programme, an enhanced DBS check will be completed for you. The recruitment process consists of assessments and interviews taking place in June 2024. The programme starts in September 2024.
