Growing rapidly, they #39;re now seeking a motivated Project Engineer professional to join their team of experts. Responsibilities, but are not limited to Responsible for cost-effective design, material procurement, instigation, control and compilation and submission of all associated engineering documentation Direct supervision of sub-ordinates; may have the services of Junior Engineers, Draughtspersons and Trainee Engineers Creating cost effective designs by integration of common parts and standardisation of components Produce general arrangement drawings, manufacturing drawings and technical specifications Create 3D models for estimating weights, volumes, interferences, determining complex geometry Design products that comply with applicable design codes, e.g. ASME VIII, ASME B31.3 governing legislation, e.g. 2014/68/EU (PED) Verification of designs by calculations and/or FEA/CFD Assist sales teams in the preparation of quotation drawings/documentation Producing material requisitions to ensure all material/quantity/technical requirements are identifiedExperiences required HNC in Mechanical Engineering or similar: BEng, BSE, HND, BSc Professional industry experiencer performing FEA CFD Competent designing in AutoCAD 2D SolidWorks 3D CAD Extensive experience creating detailed technical drawings for manufacture Must have pressure vessel design experience ASME PV code knowledge preferred (i.e. ASME VIII) A background in the Oil Gas industry is desirablePackage 37 Hours P/W | Monday to Thursday + Early Finish Friday | 23 Holidays | Christmas Shutdown | Pension Scheme | Bonus Scheme | Life Insurance | Free On-Site Parking | Free Eye Tests | Flexi Working Hours Key Skills - SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Autodesk, 3D, 2D, Oil Gas, Piping, Pressure Vessels, Filtration, Simulation, FEA, CFD, Abaqus, Ansys, DFM, DFMA, Calculations, NPD, Quotations, Analysis
