Mechanical fitter

Job Title: Mechanical Fitter Place of Work/Group Company: Nijhuis Saur Industries Mobile Water Solutions, Stoke Summary: The Mechanical Fitter will construct all products (standard/non standard) in line with quality documentation and quality system including GA P ID diagrams. Duties and Responsibilities: * Ability to work with ABS UPVC pipework and fittings * Ability to read and terminate electrically to an industry acceptable standard when required, to termination and schematic diagrams * Working with other teams within the business to achieve overall objectives within specified timescale Fabrication and welding of carbon and stainless steel assemblies * Ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, policies and requirements are strictly adhered to at all times * Maintain a safe and tidy working environment * Provide on-the-job training/support to new team members * Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents * Exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way, and be sensitive to audience diversity * The role will be subject to standardised procedures and practices to ensure products are delivered to our quality standards Required Skills/Qualifications: 3+ years fabrication experience in a similar role (essential) English, Maths IT GCSE or equivalent (essential) Knowledge of Microsoft/ Google suite (desirable) FLT/ Crane operating licence would be an advantage Nijhuis Saur Industries UK Ireland are an equal opportunity employer; we are committed to providing equal opportunities in all aspects of employment in line with the Equality Act 2010
