Not only will you be overseeing Finance you will also be integral to the leadership of the organisation from a commercial and operational perspective. This role will report to the CEO and be responsible for the finance team of 8 whom you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding. Ideally with a hands-on approach you will be responsible for all aspects of financial control for this profitable company, with many new projects and opportunities for growth. Management and oversight of day-to-day operations for Finance. middot; Delivering simple, actionable monthly management information to the Management Team, giving insightful analysis that helps drive profitable decision-making middot; Management of working capital, and detailed cashflow management middot; Annual Statutory accounts work, meeting demands of full audits, in collaboration with external accountants. middot; VAT returns, cashflow, payroll, company insurance renewals middot; Overseeing tax returns and general tax strategy middot; Potential to add additional management portfolios with time dependent on candidate experience middot; Developing a team, helping to upskill and bridge the gap to management. What the client is looking for hellip;.. middot; The ideal candidate will be qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA with experience as a Hands-On financial leader in a similar SME environment. middot; You will have a good understanding of business systems with experience of selecting and implementing new finance or other core business systems and strong Excel skills, ideally to Macro level. middot; You will have experience in a manufacturing environment and a broad systems understanding outside the Finance function. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail with a wide range of financial and operational expertise. They will be excellent communicators across all departments at all levels, with a keen interest in all aspects of the business operations, keen to grow with the role and within the company.
