Business development manager

Business Development Manager Sunbury on Thames GBP50K per annum + commission Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their company due to expansion. This exciting opportunity will enable the individual to build and grow a sales structure within the organisation. You will: * Identify new opportunities and leads * Manage the entire sales process from researching organisations, making initial contact and developing new business relationships * Be actively involved in building the annual sales and financial targets * Gain a strong understanding on the services offered within the organisation * Develop and prepare sales presentations * Be responsible for managing the tender process * Work with new clients to onboard efficiently and accurately * Work closely with the Directors and the wider teams to ensure new and existing clients are receiving a professional service at all times * Present progress reports/figures to the Directors * Gain a good understanding of the client rsquo;s needs and their expectations * Meet KPI rsquo;s set The ideal candidate will: * Have strong experience working within a similar sales role * Have experience in managing tenders * Be a confident negotiator and ability to close the deal * Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written * Work well independently and remain self-motivated * Be happy to work hands on within the role * Have a full UK driving licence with own car * Have a proven track record of meeting KPI rsquo;s and targets Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
