Junior edi analyst engineer

We are looking for a Junior EDI Analyst / Engineer to IT team of an International consumer goods manufacturer to assist in the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of EDI - Electronic Data Interchange - processes and systems. Our client #39;s IT team has recently upgraded its subsidiaries on Microsoft D365. As part of this project, there is a continuation roadmap of further implementations. Job Summary: The Junior EDI Analyst/ Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the setup, testing, monitoring and maintenance of EDI processes and workflows. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data exchange between business partners, vendors, and internal systems. They rsquo;ll will contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of electronic data transactions while gaining exposure to various aspects of EDI operations. Key Responsibilities: bull; Assist in the setup, testing, and maintenance of EDI processes and workflows bull; Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions to ensure timely and accurate data exchange. bull; Collaborate with IT and business teams to analyse, map, and translate data between different EDI formats and systems. bull; Participate in the onboarding process of new trading partners ensuring compliance with EDI standards bull; Identify and resolve issues related to data mapping, translation errors, and data integrity. bull; Document EDI processes guidelines for future reference. bull; Provide support for EDI-related inquiries from internal stakeholders. bull; Assist in EDI system upgrades and enhancements, contributing to the continuous improvement of EDI operations. bull; Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in EDI standards and technologies. Qualifications: bull; Bachelor #39;s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field. bull; Basic understanding of data mapping and transformation processes. bull; Familiarity with D365 FO or any other ERP. bull; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues. bull; Fluent in English. Any other European language will be a plus bull; Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) concepts, standards (e.g. EDIFACT, Tradacom, XML, ANSI X12), and Communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN) is desirable bull; Basic knowledge of SQL and data entities bull; Familiarity with integration concepts and programming skills are a plus bull; Knowledge about how APIs work Personal Skills: bull; Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks. bull; Good communicator, with an ability to explain complex concepts in easy to understand and compelling ways bull; Able to deliver under tight and changing deadlines bull; Good document writing skills bull; Ability to thrive in an international, multicultural organization Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Office based in Uxbridge, London with great access to public transport or provided parking. Applicants must hold a right to work in the UK and be UK-based. Hybrid working at least 3 days per week in the office is required. Travel: Occasional International travel is required
