Director of sport

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Director of Sport to work in a Secondary school near Bury St Edmunds, Starting in September 2024. This position will be offered a Permanent Basis. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location - Bury St Edmunds Position - Director of Sport Contract/ Start Date - September 2024 Duration/ Duration - Permanent Full Time/ Part Time - Full time Minimum rate of pay - Paid to Scale (We negotiate on behalf of you - moving you up the pay ladder, higher band/ more pay on your TLR bonus, sign on bonuses for every year you stay) Hours - 5 days a week: 8.30am to 3:30pm (PPA time is included) If you are interested in this position, we can send you the full job specification to refer to. An amazing PE/ Sport department, with some high achieving teams/ individuals across the district/region.EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Degree (2:1 or above) in any subject GCSE English and Maths grade #39;C #39; or above Qualified Teacher Status PGCE and QTS in Secondary Education Have experience directing Sport before Offer unique coaching, maintain the high achieving teams. Hold an Enhanced Child Barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service - or be willing to process a new application.
