Purchase ledger clerk

We are currently partnering with a Housing Association in North Birmingham, who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their Finance team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a full-time, due to start ASAP and offers hybrid working, with two days per week working from home. The temporary contract is due to last three months on a rate of GBP17.30 umb, moving to a salary of GBP26,700 once permanent. Duties will include (but are not limited to): * Processing up to 150 per day and inputting onto system * Looking after the purchase ledger and monitoring supplier accounts * Preparing BACS payment runs * Maintaining the Purchase Order system and dealing with GRNs and POs Skills, knowledge and expertise required: * Accounts Payable experience Rewards and benefits: * Hybrid working (after initial training period) * 29 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays * 5% pension Working hours: * 37 hours per week * Flexible starts and finishes Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
