SEN Teaching Assistant - Croydon Borough - Full-Time Role - 8:30 - 3:30/4 - South Croydon - ASAP until End of Academic Year - Ofsted Rating #39; Outstanding #39; - Year 2 class in a 1:1 or small group setting Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We #39;re seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in Croydon. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN in year 2, ensuring they have access to tailored learning experiences. Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons that cater to the individual needs and abilities of each student. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and empowered to learn. Collaborate with other staff members, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with SEN. Relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare, or SEN support (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools) would be advantageous.Why Choose Us?
