Project Support Officer Location: Winchester Job Type: Full-time Salary: c25,000 - GBP30,000 We are seeking a Project Support Officer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to develop project management and planning skills while supporting the planning and monitoring process. The ideal candidate will work under the guidance of experienced professionals, contributing to efficient project delivery and collaborating with various teams. Day-to-day of the role: Assist in managing comprehensive project plans, ensuring cost and resource allocation align with project requirements. Document changes to project plans, supporting the management of critical paths and forward-loading practices. Contribute to the development and implementation of standardised planning processes and work instructions. Gather and present project performance data, including Earned Value Management, in a concise and timely manner. Assist in identifying and reporting on project deviations, opportunities, and potential solutions to the project team. Support the development of resource allocation plans, identifying team member roles and responsibilities. Ensure all reports are accurate, timely, and validated under the guidance of the Project Manager. Required Skills Qualifications: Adaptability and willingness to develop new skills and adapt to different project environments. Proficiency in MS Project to enhance project planning and communication. Strong planning skills with the ability to assist in developing project plans that align with cost and resource allocation. Effective communication skills to work closely with the project team and prepare clear and concise reports. Ability to participate in implementing project monitoring and reporting systems for accurate and timely data collection. Desirable Skills Qualifications: APM Project Management qualification or equivalent. Primavera P6 Professional Fundamentals. Degree qualification in engineering or another relevant discipline.
