Responsibilities of the Health care Support Worker (PMLD) include: - Delivering compassionate assistance with personal care tasks, such as feeding, toileting, and dressing, always ensuring dignity and respect. - Supporting students with mobility and physical requirements, creating a safe and nurturing space for their growth. - Administering medication as prescribed and diligently following individual care plans provided by health care professionals. - Providing emotional support and fostering social interaction among students, encouraging meaningful connections. - Collaborating with teachers and therapists to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and actively contributing to classroom activities. - Assisting with the implementation of sensory and therapeutic activities, enriching the student #39;s learning experiences.
