Works Supervisor middot; Gateshead middot; Full time, Permanent, Monday - Friday middot; GBP25,000 per year A steel processing company are looking for a Works Supervisor to lead a small team of operatives to assure work is carried out to a high standard safely. What You rsquo;ll Be Doing middot; Supervising a team of operatives across processing and warehousing departments middot; Reviewing workflow processes and layout plans to make sure warehouse space is safe and used effectively to capitalize on workday output. middot; Operating of 5 ndash; ton overhead cranes middot; Ensuring paperwork is completed to ISO 9001 standard middot; Keeping staff up to date with the latest training and HSE guidance middot; Relaying any issues with sales logistic departments to maintain accurate customer updates What You rsquo;ll Bring to the Team middot; Proven experience as a supervisor or team leader within a busy warehouse or factory environment. Steel industry experience would be great, but not essential. middot; Strong awareness of health and safety requirements within an industrial environment middot; Good organisational skills middot; The ability to manage busy workload and meet deadlines
