The Project As a seasoned Site Manager, your role will be crucial in coordinating and supervising every facet of an Office Fit Out Project located in Preston, Lancashire. Your responsibilities include ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards, while fostering clear communication among the client and project team to facilitate a seamless project delivery. Requirements For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum; SMSTS CSCS First Aid Asbestos AwarenessIt is also essential that you hold the experience below; Positive track record of successfully overseeing and completing various office fit out projects, withholding similar values Extensive background within the industry in a Site Manager position or similar, working with a well established construction contractorAdditional skills; Superb negotiation abilities Competent IT / software skills Health and Safety knowledge Effective communication skills, verbal and written Ability to organize and manage project schedules A solid understanding of relevant regulations and standards Strong leadership abilities, providing support and direction to a team Knowledgeable of construction processes, techniques, and materials Sharp attention to detail to guarantee adherence to quality standards and specifications The Role Job Title: Site Manager Job Type: Freelance Project: Office fit out Location: Preston, Lancashire Duration: 12 weeks Reporting to: Contracts Manager Duties Chair regular site meetings Liaise with stakeholders and sub-contractors Report and work closely with Contracts Manager Coordinate tasks among various construction phases Handle any arising issues or conflicts throughout the project duration Keep track of project expenditures, remaining within budget constraints Oversee workmanship and materials to verify they align with project standards Adhere to health and safety regulations and policies during all work operations Recognise possible threats to the project, implementing strategies to address them Communicate regularly and effectively., maintaining strong relationships with clients Monitor resources, such as equipment and materials, ensuring they are used efficiently Provide guidance and support to project teams, assuring they are motivated and focused Coordinate across multiple trades to uphold a smooth workflow and achieve timely completion Manage daily site activities, overseeing the supervision of workers, sub-contractors and suppliers Create comprehensive project plans, encompassing schedules, resource allocation, and financial outlines Serve as the main point on contact between project team, clients and stakeholders, delivering frequent progress updates Managing resources such as materials, equipment, and labor to ensure they are used efficiently and effectively Keeping accurate records of all aspects of the project, including contracts, permits, change orders, and correspondence Organize and supervise inspections conducted by regulatory authorities, ensuring necessary corrections or adjustments are promptly addressed Foster and sustain positive client relationships by addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the project #39;s progress This is a freelance position with a competitive rate on offer for the successful candidate.
