Job Description As our business continues to grow, we have a strategic requirement to hire an Engineering Manager ndash; New Build Conventional Island. The Engineering Manager plays a pivotal role for the formation, leadership and management of the engineering teams that will undertake Front End Engineering Delivery for NNB major programmes. Leadership of the engineering activities Approvals for Safety and Functional Requirements Leadership and demonstration of Design Packages in line with requirements Model Based System Engineering oversight and sign off Preparation and sign off of Technical Specifications Programme monitoring and reporting Management of Risk and Opportunity Team development and management SQEPing of resources Coaching and identifying training needs Qualifications Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Extensive proven experience in similar roles with specific emphasis on FEED through to detailed design. Experienced in leading and integration of multi-disciplinary design teams Able to define power station thermal cycle modelling outcomes and oversee work undertaken. Ability to define budgets/work programs for complete design project lifecycles e.g. requirements capture, concept design and detailed design.
