Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of learning by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, manage classroom behavior, and ensure a productive learning environment for our students. Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, following pre-prepared lesson plans. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment. Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times. Encourage student engagement and participation in learning activities. Provide support to students as needed, fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Liaise with teaching staff and senior leadership to report on student progress and any issues arising during cover sessions.Requirements: Previous experience working in a school setting or with children and young people is desirable but not essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline.
