We require a Permanent CNC Machinist to join our team in South Oxfordshire. Our client specializes in precision manufacturing and seeks an individual experienced in operating HAAS TL-1 CNC lathes and other machining equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to their expanding department! Salary: GBP29,000 - GBP31,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Location: South Oxfordshire Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:30 am - 4:30 pm Start date: Immediate About the role: As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include: Programming, setting, and operating HAAS TL-1 CNC lathes. Operating a variety of manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, and drills. Conducting inspections on finished work pieces using measuring equipment including CMM, micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges. Fabricating jigs and fixtures for component work holding as needed. Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in the Machine Shop. Adhering to company health and safety regulations and ISO 9001:2015 procedures. Performing other duties as required. About you as the CNC Machinist: Previous experience operating HAAS TL-1 CNC lathes and other machining equipment. Proficient in manual machining techniques. Familiarity with various measuring equipment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
