Deputy Care Manager - Residential Care / Supported Living We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Care Manager for a Residential Care role based near Stretford in Greater Manchester. The role is with a reputable company that operates in the healthcare sector and are providing care to adults and children with learning disabilities. This role would be supporting services in Greater Manchester. They are offering: * Salary ranging from GBP27,000 to GBP30,000 per annum * 28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays) * Ongoing professional development, guidance and support. * Cycle to work scheme * Life insurance scheme The Role: As a Deputy Care Manager, your responsibilities will include: * Supervising staff members * Assist the service management * Take overall responsibility in ensuring the running of the home/service * Help with training/mentoring staff members * Dealing with administrative tasks The Candidate: The ideal candidate for the Deputy Care Manager position should have: * Level 3 QCF/NVQ in care or equivalent/higher * In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations * Excellent communication and leadership skills * Experience of working with adults/children in a residential / supported living setting * Experience as a senior support worker or deputy/assistant manager or similar position The Package: The benefits package for the Deputy Care Manager role includes: * 28 days holiday including bank holidays * A contributory pension scheme * Training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge * Good progression opportunities Our client is a well-established business that has been continuously providing excellent care for those in need.
