Vip commis chefs

We #39;re looking for a talented Vip Commis Chef to work for our client. They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of strong knife skills and proficiency in various food preparation techniques. If that #39;s you then you could be exactly what they #39;re looking for. Please note: In this position you #39;ll be needed to work at weekends and work shifts in unsociable hours. Full details of how this will work will be revealed at interview. ---- The Role: As the Vip Commis Chef you #39;ll report to the Head Chef and will be primarily responsible for responsible for assisting the Head Chef in food preparation, kitchen operations, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace in order to ensure efficient catering services. In the job you #39;ll be tasked with with assisting in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Finally, you #39;ll also be tasked with upporting the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in various tasks such as meal planning, menu development, and special event preparation. The standard working hours for this position are 04:30am - 12:30pm and from 12:30pm - 10:00pm. you have to be flexible to do both shifts. ---- The Candidate: The ideal candidate for this Vip Commis Chef role will have relevant experience of strong knife skills and proficiency in various food preparation techniques. You #39;ll also need experience of a basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment. Plus, it #39;s vital that you #39;ve got experience of the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, following instructions from the Head Chef or kitchen supervisor. In addition, you #39;ll need previous experience in the field and a genuine passion for cooking and a deep love for the culinary arts are fundamental to sustaining motivation and creativity in the kitchen. The ideal person for the role will be the following: - Prepared to undergo a UK criminal check (paid by us for you!) - Able to provide 5 years work history (gaps over 28 days need a gap reference)(obtained for you by us!) - Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Does that sound like you?
