Multi skilled engineer

We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to work for one of our clients who is a well-established manufactuirng company located in the Northallerton, North Yorkshire area. THE ROLE: This really is an exceptional opportunity for a fully trained multi skilled Engineer with relevant hands on experience to join an outstanding and growing manufacturing organization. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor you will be involved in Planned and unplanned maintenance and break down, maintain kit, and systems, to ensure that we achieve our production targets, aiming zero target engineering down time throughout the plants. Also ensuring that equipment is available for production, required an energy and urgency at all time to fix the breakdown asap. Developing a clear knowledge and understanding of the factory, machinery and their use. THE DUTIES: * Carrying out fault finding diagnosis and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. Electronics repair will be an advantage * required to attend and carry tasks on planned and unplanned maintenance of our high-speed production machinery such as servo-controlled P P systems, filling machines, flow wrappers, check weighers, shrink and stretch wrappers etc. * This is a hands-on role, to carry mechanical, electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic tasks with sense of urgency. * Ensure smooth running of the factory machinery. * Ensure break downs are attended at a speedy response. * To orientate your hand on engineering skills drive to ensure that the products produced meet customer specification, quality, and food safety. * To be proactive in looking for areas of engineering improvement and to adopt techniques and practices that ensure that there is a quality environment in production THE HOURS: Flexibility to work a 4 on 4 off rota working 12 hour shifts on both days and nights.
