Manufacturing quality engineer

The Manufacturing Quality Engineer will be responsible for delivering the Quality strategy and strategic operational goals to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost, and delivery, optimising production quality levels and supporting operational excellence. Youll implement all relevant procedures described in the Business Management System (BMS) and ensure compliance. To give you an idea of how this Manufacturing Quality Engineer role would look and feel, here are some areas you can expect to work in: * Ensure that all in:house systems and procedures are updated, revised, and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies * Undertake internal process and product audits of the Business Management System (BMS) * Introduce new systems and procedures where appropriate * Respond to customer complaints putting in containment actions, full analysis, error proofing, and implementing short:term and long:term countermeasures for external or internal issues * Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems * Reporting to the customer the status of customer claims and ensuring alignment between the customers and the company voice for this Manufacturing Quality Engineer position, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include: * Demonstratable problem:solving skills (8D, PPS and advanced problem:solving) * Knowledge of the latest automotive tools and techniques * APQP experience that matches the customer portfolio * A detailed understanding of IMDS * Experience dealing with customers and suppliers In return for your passion, collaborative approach, and commitment, youll receive a generous salary and benefits package, joining a friendly and inclusive culture.
