Operations manager

We are presently seeking an adept Operations Manager to join our team within the Facades Cladding Division at Guildmore. To be successful you must have worked for a specialist fa ccedil;ade / building envelope contractor in the UK, showcasing technical competency and a proven track record in overseeing multiple fa ccedil;ade packages from Pre-Construction through to delivery on flagship projects. The role involves various site locations, primarily in London, with occasional meetings at the Head Office in Bromley. Responsibilities: * Managing programs comprehensively from initiation to completion. * Collaborating closely with Commercial and Procurement teams. * Supervising a team of three Senior Project Managers. * Identifying project risks and proposing effective solutions. * Coordinating the dispatch of subcontractors and equipment. * Measuring and managing client satisfaction. * Facilitating weekly operations meetings. * Holding client and subcontractor meetings. * Chairing and managing procurement and design team meetings. * Ensuring all operations are conducted in an appropriate, cost-effective manner. * Enhancing operational management systems, processes, and best practices. * Ensuring organizational processes remain legally compliant. * Overseeing materials, packages procurement, planning inventory, and optimizing warehouse efficiency. * Formulating strategic and operational objectives. * Analysing financial data and utilizing it to enhance profitability. * Managing budgets and forecasts. * Conducting quality control checks with the team. * Demonstrating proven work experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role, understanding principal contractor duties. * Possessing knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management. * Having experience in budgeting and forecasting. * Familiarity with business and financial principles. * Overseeing design and collaborating with the design manager. * Chairing regular fa ccedil;ade progress meetings covering safety, quality, resources, program, site coordination, and interface works. * Working closely with the Managing Director and Head of Operation to ensure each project is programmed and delivered to the highest standards, overseeing procurement, quality, budget control, and client management. This position requires: * A minimum of 5 years #39; experience in operations management and project management. * Expertise in project planning. * Financial management and budgeting experience. * Experience in fa ccedil;ades, cladding remediation, SFS, window installation, and curtain walling. * Essential skills in contracting management and client negotiation. * Assisting the pre-construction team in producing site set-up, methodology of works, and compliance from the main contractor #39;s perspective. This position offers a competitive salary between GBP90,000-GBP110,000 plus package.
