Civil design engineer

Responsibilities: middot; Your role will be focused on the design and project management of a number of large scale infrastructure projects. middot; Prepares design elements and design plans for highway/road and utility/drainage design using MX or Micro drainage or Civil 3D middot; You will be managing the projects from start to finish and you will be working within a multi-disciplinary group of professionals. middot; You will have access to their network of professionals to ensure that the projects are produced to the highest possible standard. middot; Your role will involve full design and co-ordination of design working on major developments and will require creativity and imagination, to ensure that all projects exceed the expectation of the client. middot; High level of client service and focus is essential and regular client briefings is very much part of the role. middot; Assists with other duties assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers. Requirements: middot; Administration of all civilian construction work at the site middot; A minimum of 3+ years relevant experience in a design environment middot; Be proficient in the use of MX Roads or Microdrainage or AutoDesk Civil 3D or equivalent middot; Experience designing roads with first-hand knowledge of DMRB and the NRA Manual of Contract Documents for Road Works. middot; A recognized Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree middot; The ability to communicate design intent and philosophy to allied team members and non-technical interested parties. middot; Excellent communication skills with English as a first language is essential. middot; Excellent focus on client service is essential. middot; Desire to be the best in your field and prepared to be professionally challenged.
